KI 2938 Planned IT-maintenance Saturday, June 21th

Please be aware that on Saturday, June 21st, there will be interruptions to IT services and some networks between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. This is due to scheduled maintenance and updates on several of our systems. We would like to specifically highlight some of these services:

www.uib.no (W3 and W4)
The website www.uib.no will be down for approximately 10 minutes between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Saturday due to maintenance.

Network on Sydnesplassen 9, Sydneshaugen School
Due to network work, several areas at Sydnesplassen 9 and Sydneshaugen School will experience network interruptions on Saturday, June 21st. These interruptions are expected to last 3-6 hours and will affect both wired and wireless networks.

We recommend all users plan their work according to the scheduled updates and be prepared for temporary network outages. Users may relocate to other buildings if network connectivity is essential during this period.

General Information for Maintenance Weekends
If you plan to use the services during this period, we recommend that you save your work frequently. If you experience issues, such as your PC freezing or a service being unavailable, we suggest taking a break and trying again later.
