KI 3115 Notice of planned IT service disruption at UiB on Saturday, 14 February

We would like to inform you that on Saturday, 14 February, many of UiB’s IT services will be unavailable or unstable for large parts of the day.

The reason for this is that the IT Department will carry out a continuity test. This test is more extensive than a regular maintenance Saturday and will result in longer and more noticeable service interruptions.

We therefore recommend not working on UiB’s network or using UiB’s IT services on this day.

External services, such as Microsoft 365, are expected to function as normal as long as you are not connected to UiB’s network.

Please note that the IT Department will also carry out its monthly maintenance weekend the following week, on Saturday, 21 February. On this day as well, IT services at UiB will be limited.
