Yes, you can return books outside of library hours.

You can deliver them in boxes/hatches outside the library. These will then be registered the next working day. To use most of these, you need to have an access card to get into the building.

The deposit boxes can be found at:
- The Arts and Humanities Library (hatch in the wall outside the main entrance, no access card needed)
- The Fine Art and Design Library (hatch in the wall outside the library)
- The Law Library (box outside the library entrance)
- The Mathematical and Natural Sciences Library (box inside Realfagbygget)
- The Medical Library (a box outside the library front door and a box on the bridge from the hospital to the BB building)
