License is bought for one or all programs, normally for one person for one year.

These can be purchased/subscribed to individually or all together as a package (Creative Cloud All Apps). All Apps costs a little more than two individual programs.

Licenses are normally purchased for one year at a time. Our "renewal date" is December 10th. If you buy a license in the middle of the year, you pay for the period up to the renewal date (December 10th) and must then renew the license for one year at a time. It is not possible to renew the license for a period shorter than a year.

A license is valid for one named user and can only be used by that person. The license can be transferred to another user, e.g. if someone leaves or the needs change in a department. Contact the IT division to arrange such user transfers.

There is also a Creative Cloud All Apps license that can be used on one machine, but for all users of this machine. So-called "device" license. This is suitable for student labs, workshops, etc. There are no "device" licenses for individual programs, only for All Apps (all the programs).

There are no longer "express" versions, which were cheaper versions of the programs with reduced functionality. These were discontinued a few years ago.
