KI 1112 Extended functions for Microsoft information protection
On a Windows PC, you can install the Azure Information Protection program for extended features.
You do not need to install anything on your PC to use Microsoft information protection. If you have the latest version of Office, the information protection will be available under "Sensitivity".
If you have a Windows PC, there is also the possibility of some extended features: locking the labels band, or classifying from file explorer. To use these features, you need to install the Azure Information Protection client software on your PC:
Install Azure Information Protection on a UiB PC
The client can be found at the Software Center on your UiB-PC:
You can click lnstall to install it if it is not already installed.
Install Azure Information Protection on a Private PC
The Azure Information Protection (AIP) program can be downloaded and installed from the Microsoft Web site.
Install AIP Client for Mac
There is no client that can be installed for Mac. On a Mac, all you have to do is log in to Office with your UiB account. See description here.
