KI 1503 How to use Myprint.uib.no
Log in to Myprint
Go to myprint.uib.no.Here you may:
- Select language for this site.
- og in with your UiB user account (Microsoft 365 / Work or school account).
- Download the Ricoh MyPrint app to your smartphone/pad. See _____ for more information.
Pay for prints/copies (students only)

The button Transaction history gives an overview of previous transactions.
Click the desired value to proceed to transfer the selected amount to your print account.
(More information will appear here when a new payment solution is in place.)
The button Value coupon for payment:
Use this if you have received a value coupon to cover printing/copying costs:
Enter the code from the value coupon and click Value coupon for payment to add the amount to your print account.
Print a document
You may drag and drop documents icons from storage on your computer to the field in the middle of the page:Then click the Print button to send the document to the print queue.One copy, double paged in black and white is the standard print setting. If you want to change this, operate the selections for colour, single/double sided, stapling or number of copies before you click Print.
You can also send the documents you want to print as e-mail attachments to myprint@uib.no.

Installer printer on a private computer
click the button Install printer on this page:Select which system to download an installation file for, then click Download package:
The installation file is stored to the standard download folder on your computer.
Start the installation program and proceed t complete the installation.
When the installation is complete, you can print to UiBprint as to any other printer on your computer.
Selections in the «My profile» menu
- Install myPrint Desktop - Not recommended
- Supports Windows only. Will install an «app» on your private computer with interface similar to myPrint.uib.no.
- Print settings (see also section below)
- Allows you to change the default settings on your home page.
- The selections you make here will also apply to print jobs sent as attachements to myprint@uib.no.
- Change myPrintID
- Allows you to change myPrint-ID. This being the unique ID myPrint uses to identify you when you use the app, myPrint Desktop or a queue installed on your private computer. If you change this value, you must re-install these to make them work again.
- Manage e-mail addresses (see also section below)
- Allows you to add private e-mail addresses. All attachments sent from an e-mail address in this list will be added to your print queue..
- Change notifications – Students only!
- Add notification for when your account balance is getting low.
- Transaction history – Students only!
- Shows your payment history.
Change standard settings for printing
Click My profile on the top right of the page:Select Print settings:
Choose the settings you want as default for your future print jobs. Click Save when done:
Add additional e-mail addresses to print from
You may add extra e-mail addresses when you print from e-mail. This can be usesful e.g. if you send print jobs from a private e-mail address on your mobile phone. When an address is added here, any attachemts you send from it to myprint@uib.no will be automatically added to your print queue in the UiB print system and can be collected as usual.Click My profile on the top right of the page:
Select Manage e-mail addresses:
Add the addresses you may want to send print jobs from. (It is not necessary to add your UiB address, it is automatically registered..)
Click Save when done:
An e-mail will be sent to the address(es) you register:
You need to use the link in the e-mail ("click HERE to activate your email alias") before you start sending documents for printing from the address in question.
