KI 1845 Change in multi-factor authentication with Microsoft Authenticator

To increase protection against misuse of user accounts, numbermatching is introduced for multi-factor authentication with the Microsoft Authenticator app. Where you previously could click on the app to log in, you now have to enter the two-digit number shown in the login window.
We recommend using the Authenticator app for multi-factor authentication.

When you are asked to confirm your login, you will now be shown a two-digit number. You need to enter this number in the Authenticator app for confirmation.

The Authenticator app now also shows which application is asking for confirmation.

These measures will reduce the possibility of inadvertently approving login by an unauthorized person.

In some cases the box "Are you attempting to log in?" cover the numbers on your screen
If so, click I cannot see the numbers.
This will make the authenticator box disappear for 5 seconds. Hopefully sufficent for you to see and memorize the number. Then the box appears again so you can enter the numbers.
