KI 2391 How to get the Hostname on Windows

A quick guide on how to fetch the hostname of your Windows device through the command prompt.

1) Open Command Prompt by pressing Windows + R at the same time, then enter "cmd" and press enter.

2) In the command prompt window type in "hostname" and press enter, you should now see the name of your Windows device.
