KI 2541 Adding a citation from EndNote - reading lists

(updated )
Part of user guide for the reading list system Leganto
Citations can be imported from EndNote and other reference management systems.

In EndNote, export the citations as a .ris file, which can then be imported into Leganto.
  1. EndNote: choose the citations you want to export.
  2. EndNote: File -> Export -> change file type from .txt to .ris (make sure that  Output style is 'RefMan (RIS) Export').
  3. Leganto: click 'Add' in your list or in 'Saved citations' and choose 'Import references' > 'From file'.
For Mac users: to change the file type, the ending has to show. If it doesn't you can turn it on in Finder (Finder > Preferences > Advanced > Show all filname extensions)
