KI 2837 Multiple microphones in teaching rooms

What can be done if there is a need for more microphones
It is not possible to expand the number of microphones in self-service teaching rooms.
The upper limit for self-service wireless microphones in teaching rooms is set at four units.
There are several reasons for this, but the main one is complexity and the risk of feedback/noise.
Smaller seminar rooms have 1 to 2 wireless microphones.
Many teaching rooms also have fixed gooseneck microphones.
Some of the larger auditoriums and specialized rooms have the option to connect an external audio mixer.
In such rooms, it is possible to book an audio technician.
paid service provided by an external supplier.
Parallel framework agreements have been established with three suppliers. The allocation of call-offs follows the procedures outlined below:
Call-offs with an estimated value under NOK 100,000 shall follow a prioritized list:
  1. System Norge AS
  2. Bright Norway AS
  3. Konsertsystemer LLB AS
For call-offs, the contracting authority will first inquire with the supplier ranked number one. If the top-ranked supplier does not have the capacity to carry out the assignment as described, the next-ranked supplier will be contacted, and so on.
Call-offs with an estimated value exceeding NOK 100,000 must be conducted through a mini-competition.

It is also possible to book Aula or Storsalen for larger events requiring more microphones.
Please note that self-service in Storsalen is limited to five microphones: one fixed gooseneck microphone, and four wireless units (two handheld and two belt-pack transmitters with headsets).
