KI 2851 HubroHub - Shared JupyterHub at UiB

HubroHub is a shared JupyterHub service at the University of Bergen. It is available at https://hubrohub.uib.no.
HubroHub is a shared JupyterHub solution for the University of Bergen where all employees and students will have access to their own Jupyter Notebooks with just a few keystrokes. The service is available at https://hubrohub.uib.no.

The service is currently under testing and will be accessible to everyone before the fall semester of 2025. If you wish to gain access, please contact the IT department via UiB-hjelp.

There are also limited GPU resources available. Please specify if you would like access to these.

When you visit the website, you will be prompted to log in with your UiB account. If you have access, you will then be given the option to start your own Jupyter Server. Processor power and memory are specified in the various options, and you also get access to a storage space of 10GB.

You are responsible for your Jupyter Server. This includes the data you store on HubroHub. No backups will be made.

When your Jupyter Server starts up, you will be greeted with a JupyterLab interface. You can switch to the classic Jupyter Notebook interface by replacing "lab" with "tree" at the end of your HubroHub URL, which is typically https://hubrohub.uib.no/user/{your-username}/lab.
