KI 3022 Storage quota in OneDrive and Teams (SharePoint)

Requests for increased storage space often indicate that OneDrive/SharePoint is being used to store data types that should be kept elsewhere.


Larger data files or many tiny files (like raw data from simulations, videos, experiments, ...) should not be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, but rather in a project area on UiB storage. The IT department offers up to 1TB of free storage in project areas.


OneDrive and SharePoint areas may still be expanded in some cases.
