KI 3107 Feide login problem

Due to a necessary change in the Feide service by our provider, Sikt, access to some external services that require Feide authentication is temporarily unavailable for UiB users.

What does this mean for you?
  • Most IT services are operating as normal.
  • Some UiB services may temporarily fail during Feide login.
    In such cases, you may receive the following error message:
    “Service not activated. In order to use this service, a Feide administrator for your organization must activate it.”
What is the IT Department doing?
  • We are continuously working to approve and activate affected services.
  • Critical services are being prioritised.
What can you do?
  1. Please try logging in again at a later time.
  2. If you need quick access to a specific service, submit a support request via
    https://hjelp.uib.no or contact BRITA by phone at +47 55 58 47 00.
    Please include, if possible:
  • The name of the service and a link to it
  • The error message (attach a screenshot if possible)
  • Urgency and impact
