Follow the instructions on the above page (see readme.md) - the advantage is that zotero will be updated each time you update and upgrade your system via apt:
wget -qO- `https://raw.githubusercontent.com/retorquere/zotero-pkg/master/install.sh` | sudo bash
sudo apt update
sudo apt install zotero
For the LibreOffice plugin to work, LibreOffice must be installed un-sandboxed, dvs. ikke som en snap.
