KI 0319 Backup & Upgrade to Windows 10 - HP EliteBooks

Prerequisite: The PC has been added to Backup & Upgrade to Windows 10 in System Center.

Hi,

The laptop has been made ready for the upgrade.
Please connect it to the wired UiB network, and log in normally.
Open Software Center, and click on Operating Systems.
Click on "Backup Win7 "light" - Upgrade to Windows 10" in order for the PC to begin the backup and then upgrade to Windows 10.

You cannot use the laptop while this process in ongoing.
After about 30-60 minutes in to the process, you will get a message prompting you to press F1 in order to continue the installation.
Please do so in order to continue the process.

When you see the default Windows login screen, the upgrade has finished.
Please note that not all applications are fully installed yet, and will continue in the background.
The Office suite can be used right away.
