KI 0758 Configure Outlook e-mail for iOS

You can use your UiB e-mail on most common mobile phones and tablets. It is recommended to download the Outlook app for iOS (external link).

Please follow this guide for setting up the Outlook app.

Using other/built-in smartphone mail apps may cause problems or not provide the full Outlook functionality. We are not able to assist with other apps.

If you still choose to use another e-mail app, please proceed like this:

Students:

Go to your phone's Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account. (You may have more than one e-mail account registered in the same app, so you will not have to remove or lose any already existing mailboxes.)
Select Microsoft Exchange as the option for configuration
Log in with username@uib.no

Employees:

Go to your phone's Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account. (You may have more than one e-mail account registered in the same app, so you will not have to remove or loose any already existing mailboxes.)
Select Microsoft Exchange as the option for configuration
Log in with firstname.lastname@uib.no
