KI 0932 What do I do if the micropohone doesn't work?

If you find yourself in a classroom/auditorium/other with a microphone that doesn't work, you can check these things:

If you're using a headmic, check that it's turned on and not on mute.
- Also see if it's got batteries and these are charged. If it's out of power, put it back in the charging dock.
- You can also check that the receiver is connected to power.
If you're using one of the deskmics, check if it's turned on
- There's a small silver button on the front of the mic, check that there a light on. If not, click the button.

Don't move around desks that have equipment installed! Don't move around cables, or try to reconnect them yourself. Cables/plugs can loosen or break.
