How to connect to Eduroam on Windows 10
Steps for connecting to Windows 10

1. Left click on the wireless-symbol in the bottom right corner on the screen.


2. Left click on 'eduroam' in the list over available networks.


3. Mark the box 'connect automatically'. Then click 'connect'.


4. The following message will appear. Click 'connect'.


5. Enter your username and password. Notice that both students and staff has to use 'username@uib.no'.


6. The message from step 4 will reappear. Click 'connect'.


7. Windows will verify the credentials.


8. You should now be connected to eduroam.

Troubleshooting on Windows 10
Removing the Eduroam connection
If you followed the steps above, but you still can't connect, try removing Eduroam from the computer before trying again.

1. Left click on the wireless-symbol in the bottom right corner on the screen.


2. Left click on 'Network & Internet Settings'.


3. Click on 'Wi-Fi' on the left hand side.


4. Click on "Manage known networks".


5. Left click on 'eduroam', and click on the 'forget' button.



6. Your Eduroam-connection should now be forgotten on the computer. Try reconnecting with the steps at the top of the page.
