KI 0969 How can I customize information for a Zoom waiting room

It is possible to enter custom information in the waiting room in Zoom.
Note:
The text will appear in all meetings you create with waiting rooms. If the text is very specifically related to one type of meeting or one meeting, e.g. oral exam in a specific subject, it should be changed / reset between each meeting you create.
Settings.

Settings
Log in to uib.zoom.us with Feide (select SSO). Go to Settings and on to In Meeting (Advanced)
  • Turn on the Waiting room setting so that more choices appear
  • Specify which participants are to be placed in the waiting room
  • Click on the pencil icon to enter your customizations

The amount of text that can be entered in the waiting room plan is limited:
  • Heading 64 characters
  • Body text: 400 characters

What does the waiting room look like for the participant?
Students and other participants who enter the waiting room will receive the following plan with the information you have entered:

Communicate with the waiting room
Meeting organizer and co-organizer (host/co-host) can send messages to those in the waiting room from the meeting chat.

Select Everyone (in Waiting Room), write the message and send.

If you have sent a chat message, it will be visible on the right side. New messages are added chronologically.

Messages to the waiting room go only one way: from the meeting organizer to the waiting room. It is not possible to reply from the waiting room. Participants in the waiting room can also not communicate with each other.
