KI 1158 What happens to my telephone 18-20 June 2021?

That weekend we will be moving the UiB "landlines" from Skype for Business to Teams. From Monday 21.6. all employees at UiB will use Teams to make and receive telephone calls.

Friday 18.6. after office hours, the telephone function in Skype for Business will be switched off.

It will probably not be possible to make or receive calls on landline numbers (55 58 xx xx) during the weekend from Friday to Sunday afternoon.

As of Monday 21.6. we will use Teams to make and receive calls. Please see KI 1159 How to call external phone numbers from Teams for guidance.
