KI 1166 When someone (inside or outside UiB) is calling you in Teams

(updated )
Once your phone number is connected to Teams, incoming calls to your "office phone" (55 58 xx xx) will appear in the Teams program. This is how you to respond to them.
When someone calls you, an image similar to this will appear on your screen:

Answer by clicking the blue button with the handset icon at the bottom left.

The conversation starts and you get a "conversation window" as you can start talking.

Click the red button Leave on the top right of this window to terminate the call.

When you answer a call in Teams, you have several options to include others in the call and/or transfer to other recipients. At the top right of the answer window you see 3 dots ...
If you click these three dots, you get options to put the call on hold, transfer it to another recipient or ask another recipient if he/she can take the call.

Next to this you have a meeting option. Here you can include others in the conversation you have with external parties.

If you have a headset connected and are not sitting in front of your PC/Mac, you will not see or hear incoming calls. You can set up Teams to call both speaker on PC/Mac and headset at the same time. This option can be found in Settings > Devices. Find Secondary ringer and select your PC/Mac speaker.
