KI 1281 Git.app.uib.no reopens for Github login 25.10.

On 4 Oct,. we announced termination of Github login on git.app.uib.no This was done to strengthen IT security at UiB. After feedback from users, we have chosen to reopen for Github login from 25.10.

Until then, we will do a job to secure the service better.

For those who have an urgent need to allow external users (collaborative projects, etc.) into the service, we recommend as a temporary solution that the approver at your department creates a guest user through SEBRA.

In the meantime, we do not recommend migrating projects to other cloud-based code repositories. This can cause poorer security for your own data.
