KI 2088 How to install software from Microsoft Store

Microsoft Store contains lots of sofware availble for intallation on your PC.
Open the Microsoft Store program on your PC by clicking the start button and typing "store...":



Or you can browse the programs in the start menu, or use the link ms-windows-store://home in your web browser.

Once the Microsoft Store app is open, you can search for software or browse to find what you're looking for.
You can also see which programs are installed on your PC and possibly upgrade them:



In the overview of programs you can see whether they cost money (1), are already installed on your PC (2) or are free to install (3).



Note that some programs that are free to install may still cost money or require a subscription/license to use or to fully utilize.

Once you have selected the program you want to install, click the Get button to start downloading and installing:
