KI 2547 Saved citations (under construction)

Part of the user guide for the reading list system Leganto
'Saved citations' is a collection of citations, separate from the reading lists themselves. You can for example save citations that you wish to use in multiple lists or sections, so that you don't have to do a new search every time. You find your saved citations in the left hand menu.

Add citations to 'Saved citations' the same way as you add them to the list, by searching the library. Click to open the right citation in the search results, and choose Add to: Saved citations. You get the same choice when you add from external sites via Cite it! (KI 2542).

From a reading list, you can save a citation by clicking the three dots, and then 'Save citation'.

To add one of your saved citations to a reading list, click 'Add' and choose 'Add from saved citations'.

You can now choose from the list that appears, or search if you have many saved citations. Drag and drop the citation where you want it in the reading list, or click the citation and choose 'Add'.
