KI 2548 Linking a reading list to a course

Part of the user guide for the reading list system Leganto

A reading list needs to be linked to a course to be accessible for students in Mitt UiB and uib.no. Also, without a connected course the citations will not be reported to Akademika (KI 2533).

Click 'Link to course' in the top menu, and enter a course code or name to find the right course. Make sure you choose the correct semester! If the correct course does not come up, the reason could be that you are not registered om the course in FS. Please contact the Leganto Team to be added.

Linking a list to multiple courses

A reading list can be linked to more than one course, but only if the content and frequency of the course always are identical. The title must also indicate that the list covers multiple courses.

Courses that span more than one semester

Some courses last several semesters. This is shown in the linked course in the reading list (click the course code in the top menu and check the dates). The reading list title must also include the whole time span the list is valid.
