KI 2665 Planned disruptions in network and IT services, Saturday, November 16th

We would like to inform you that on the upcoming Saturday, November 16th, there will be disruptions in IT services and network connections on the university campus between 08:00 and 17:00. This is due to planned maintenance on several of our systems.

Please note the following:

There will be 10-15 minute interruptions to the wireless network on campus between 08:00 and 17:00.
The Cyclone HPC will be down for about an hour from 09:00 due to relocation.
Due to network reconfiguration, the University Library - Humanities, Haakon Sheteligs plass 7, will be without cable network from 08:00 to 17:00.
The SAFE servers will restart during the night to Saturday and may also restart during Saturday morning.

If you plan to use the services during this period, we recommend that you save your work frequently. If you experience issues, such as your PC freezing or a service being unavailable, we suggest taking a break and trying again later.
