Background
As a manager, you are responsible for approving requests in UiBtilgang. In some cases, it may be desirable to delegate this responsibility—either temporarily (for example, during illness or holidays) or for a longer period. This can be achieved by having the person who is to act as a deputy request the assignable permission “Stedfortreder”.It is important to emphasise that incoming requests must be assessed before they are approved. Some of the permissions in our catalogue may pose a security risk if granted incorrectly, while others result in costs for the unit.
How do I become a deputy?
Log into UiBTilgang, navigate to Entitlements -> Catalog, and scroll or do a search for the entitlement::
When you click Request, a window will pop up letting you select the organizational unit you want to be a deputy for, as well as the option to write a comment for your request. When done, click on Request.
Once the request is approved by the manager for your selected unit, all future requests to this unit will end up with you as a deputy. Please note that there can only be one active approver per organisational unit at any time.
I'm done being a deputy
The entitlement "Stedfortreder" does not have an end-date, meaning you will have to revoke the entitlement manually once the deputy work has been completed.This can be achieved by logging into UiBtilgang, navigate to Entitlements -> My Entitlements and pressing the "Revoke" button all the way to the right on the "Stedfortreder" entitlement.

- Can I be a deputy for multiple organizational units at the same time?
- No, you can only have one active instance of the entitlement, meaning one unit. If you are a manager leading multiple units, you will need to nominate one deputy per unit.
- Does this entitlement also apply to DFØ and other systems?
- No, only approvals in UiBtilgang.
- Is it possible to have multiple deputies for one organisational unit?
- Unfortunately that's not possible.
