Log on to apps.uib.no with your regular UiB username and password.
Upon first login, you need to install the AppsAnywhere client. This handles the use of (all) applications available, and provides the logic in the solution. This also verifies your machine towards the portal. This does not apply to Chromebooks or Linux computers, which utilizes apps.uib.no without the AppsAnywhere client.
Pick your application, click Launch. Note that some applications due to licensing requires you to be online on the UiB network through Eduroam or connected via VPN. (More information about VPN is available in the FAQ on UiB Hjelp.)
Depending on what operating system you have, you either get the application running on your own computer (Windows), on a virtual machine on your desktop (Mac) or on a virtual machine in your browser (Linux, Chromebook etc.)
Remember to store your data safely (all) - UiB offers all students free OneDrive as part of the Office suite. Launch Office365 through apps.uib.no and log in with your UiB username and password to download.
Remember to store your data safely (Mac) - when you use applications on UiBs virtual machines, you need to save to OneDrive. OneDrive is connected on the virtual machines.
