KI 0326 Separate between which data each user has access to

Unless the project manager changes the default content of the Project column in the access document, each user will have the same access under Common (S:), Project. By adding Folder names in the Project column, the SAFE team will create folders with corresponding AD access groups thus separating access for the users.
The access document is an Excel document under Common (S:), SystemOwner. The name is Access_<name>.xlsx, where name can be replaced by the name of the secure desktop. The document could look like this (click on image to enlarge):



In the access document shown, Tom Lund has access to Project A, Birger Ruud has Access to Project A and Project B, where Benny Gullfot , as project manager, has access to all folders.

Once the access document is updated, an issue must be created in https://hjelp.uib.no asking for changes from access document to be effectuated. For your convenience we have already created an shortcut which will get you started on such a request. This shortcut is available to the right with the following text: "SAFE - Updated access document".
