Some departments have already established and started using their teams. For the others, we are in the process of setting up departmental teams. Here, all employees in the department will join automatically.
Within each team there may be one or more channels. Initially, the channel General is created, where everyone can participate in the discussion (both writing and reading). You may create multiple channels within your team. You (the team administrator(s)) may create
* open channels (for everyone in the team), e.g. for special topics or subject areas
* channels where someone (eg, the management) can post, but everyone in the team can read
* closed channels, only for a selection of users.
It is also possible to create your own ad hoc teams. You create teams using this form.
