KI 1255 Git.app.uib.no: Approval of GitHub users

For security reasons, GitLab-users registered through GitHub must be approved by an administrator at UiB's IT division before being given access to the instance.

We therefore recommend everyone with a Feide user (most people at Norwegian educational institutions) to first register through Feide. Afterward, the possibility of logging in through GitHub can optionally be added at this page.

Registration though GitHub is mainly intended for external and international collaborators. For assistance in activating users registered in this way, please contact the IT division through UiBHjelp.
