KI 1597 Vedlegg.uib.no discontinued 30/6

Vedlegg.uib.no has been a service for transferring files to other recipients. The service will be discontinued 30 June 2022.

The service is discontinued because:

UiB offers other services that can largely cover the need, and a shutdown will help us use our capacities for better for providing similar, more modern services
Requirements for IT security and privacy are not met well enough on vedlegg.uib.no

Alternative solutions:

It is possible to share the files from OneDrive. More information about document sharing can be found in KI 0620 How to cooperate or share documents in OneDrive?
Alternatively, users can use the File Sender service. See https://filesender.uninett.no/
