KI 0837 Connect to VPN from Android and Chromebook

Before you can use VPN with Cisco AnyConnect, multi-factor authentication must be activated for your user account.


1. Download and install AnyConnect ICS + from Google Play.



2. Open the app and click Accept for the license agreement.

3. Click Connections.




4. Click Add new connection.

5. Fill in the fields as in the picture.



6. Turn on the connection.

You will then be asked for your username and password, which is username@uib.no and your UiB password.
(You must have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed beforehand.)

7. Login with multi-factor authentication

You will now receive a message from Microsoft Authenticator if you have enabled two-factor login.
Follow the instructions from the Microsoft Authenticator to approve the request.

8: You are now connected to the UiB Cisco VPN!
